Circle World Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old, and at least 18 to use wallets, gifts, marketplace payments, withdrawals or any other money feature. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and not barred from our services under any applicable law or sanctions list.

• Give accurate information and keep your profile details up to date.
• Keep your password and sign-in codes private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one main account. Accounts created to evade suspension may be removed.
• Business and creator identity claims must be truthful. Verification is a review decision, never a purchase of status.
• You can delete your account at any time from the deletion page.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Circle World a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute your content so we can operate, promote and improve the service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups, legal records or where others have shared it.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including music, images, video and any AI-assisted work. Do not upload copyrighted material you are not licensed to use.

You may not:

• Post illegal, violent, hateful, sexually exploitative or harassing content, or content involving minors in any unsafe way.
• Impersonate anyone, sell fake goods, or run scams, pyramid schemes or deceptive fundraising.
• Use bots, automated traffic, purchased engagement, fake views, fake gifts or any artificial activity to inflate metrics or earnings.
• Attempt to hack, overload, reverse engineer or bypass Circle World's security or payment controls.
• Collect other people's data without permission, or use Circle World to distribute malware or spam.

Breaking these rules can lead to content removal, loss of earnings obtained through the breach, suspension or permanent removal, and referral to authorities where required.

• Circle World provides the marketplace platform. Sellers, not Circle World, own and are responsible for their listings, goods, services and obligations to buyers.
• Listings must be accurate, lawful, and in a permitted category. Prohibited items include weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen items, live animals, adult services and anything illegal in the buyer's or seller's country.
• Basic listings are free. Paid placements (Premium, Featured, Top, Urgent), business shop subscriptions and verification reviews are paid features priced by Circle World and shown before checkout.
• Paid placement improves visibility and is labelled as promoted. It never guarantees sales, and it does not buy verification, badges or creator levels.
• Sellers must deliver what they advertised, honour agreed timelines and respond to buyers. Buyers must pay as agreed and describe disputes honestly.
• Reviews must come from real completed orders. Fake, incentivised or retaliatory reviews may be removed.
• Circle World may remove listings, hold orders for review, suspend shops or block sellers where we detect fraud, chargeback risk, policy breaches or legal risk.

• Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paystack. Card and bank details are handled by the provider, not stored by Circle World.
• Every payment is verified on our servers before anything is activated, credited or delivered. A payment that is not confirmed by the provider gives no entitlement.
• Prices are set by Circle World for platform features and by sellers for marketplace items, and are shown before you pay.
• Circle World charges service fees on marketplace sales, gifts and some premium features. Applicable fees are shown or published in-app and can change with notice for future transactions.
• Paid platform features (placements, subscriptions, verification reviews) are generally non-refundable once the service has started, except where the law requires otherwise or we cancel the service.
• Marketplace refunds are handled between buyer and seller under the seller's stated terms; Circle World may step in, hold funds or reverse a credit where fraud or non-delivery is established.
• Chargebacks and reversed payments may be deducted from the related earnings and may lead to account restriction.

• Gifts are purchases of digital items. The purchase is final once the payment succeeds; the sender receives no ownership rights.
• Creator earnings are calculated by our servers using the published split and settlement rules. Earnings first appear as pending and become available only after the settlement and risk checks clear.
• Earnings tied to fraud, refunded payments, chargebacks, artificial engagement or policy breaches can be reversed or cancelled.
• Withdrawals require a verified bank account in your own name, a minimum balance, and approval. Payouts are sent through Paystack to that account.
• You are responsible for any taxes owed on your earnings.

AI features consume credits and may fail; failed generations are refunded automatically by our servers where the failure is ours. You are responsible for what you publish from AI output, must not use it to deceive, impersonate or infringe rights, and must follow any additional rules shown in the Studio. AI content may be reviewed for safety.

Voice and video calls, messages and livestreams must follow the same acceptable-use rules. Do not record or broadcast other people without their consent where consent is required by law. We may end sessions that breach these Terms.

We may limit, suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, legal obligation or risk to other users or to the platform. Where possible we tell you why and how to appeal. You may stop using Circle World and delete your account at any time. Sections that should survive termination — including payment obligations, liability and dispute terms — continue to apply.

• Circle World is a platform. We do not sell marketplace items, we are not a party to buyer–seller contracts, and we are not a bank, lender or money-transmission service.
• The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, particular audience growth, particular sales, or particular earnings.
• To the fullest extent the law allows, Circle World is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data or opportunity.
• Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid Circle World in that period or ₦20,000.
• Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to cover Circle World's reasonable losses, damages and legal costs arising from your content, your listings or sales, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of anyone else's rights or the law.

Circle World uses third-party services including Paystack for payments, LiveKit for calls, cloud hosting and analytics providers, and Google services on mobile. Their own terms apply to their part of the service. Links to external sites are not endorsements.

We may update these Terms as Circle World grows or the law changes. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Circle World after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. If that fails, disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Nigeria, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
